Jenkins Custom Homes wins Custom Builder of theYear at the 2009 STAR AWARDS hosted by the Texas Association of Builders.  This is the second time in three years the custom home builder has been chosen for the award displaying excellence in product design and construction. Each year the Texas Association of Builders (TexasBuilders.org) selects one and only one custom home builder to represent our industry. It is, by far, the highest honor custom home builders in Texas can achieve. In addition to Custom Home Builder of the Year, Jenkins was also chosen for eight Star Awards including Best Custom Home, Best Architectural Design, Best Overall Interior Design, and Best Specialty Room, among others.

Austin Business Journal Names Top 25 Home Builders

Jenkins Custom Homes is ranked #7 in Austin by the Austin Business Journal for 2008. The “Book of Lists”, published annually, is greatly-anticipated by the Austin business community. Moving up from #13 last year, this is an honor that also highlights the growth of Jenkins’ business.

2006 was a very good year for Jenkins Custom Homes at the Star awards. The highly coveted Star Awards are presented annually by The Texas Association of Builders to recognize excellence in building, remodeling or development. A record 629 entrants statewide submitted their best work for consideration in this year’s competition.

Jenkins Custom Homes Named Texas’ 2006 “Builder of the Year”!

On Friday night, November 17, 2006, at a Star Awards Gala likened to the “Oscars for the building industry” the Texas Association of Builders named Jenkins Custom Homes the “2006 Custom Builder of the Year”. This is the highest honor bestowed by the Texas Association of Builders and includes competitors from all over the state. The highly coveted Star Awards are given annually to recognize excellence in building, remodeling or development. A record 629 entrants statewide submitted their best work for consideration in this year’s competition.

In addition to winning Builder of the Year for 2006, Jenkins took home the award for Best New Custom Home $500K-$1M, Best Kitchen $500K-$1M, Best Overall Interior Design for a home $500K-$1M and Best Outdoor Project. This new round of awards adds to the growing list of over 25 awards recognizing Jenkins’ exceptional home design and building quality.

Jenkins Custom Homes Sweeps Best Custom Home Category

On Saturday night, April 8, 2006, The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin presented Jenkins Custom Homes with the Award for Best Custom Home in the Greater Austin area.

Jenkins Custom Homes Named 4th Fastest Growing Company

The 2005 edition of the Aggie 100 was announced Friday, October 28 at ceremonies on Texas A&M’s College Station campus. Jenkins Custom Homes was at the top of the list, coming in at #4. The Aggie 100 program identifies, recognizes and celebrates the 100 fastest growing Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. The 100 fastest growing Aggie companies were honored at a luncheon attended by over 600 people. A&M leadership, students and business community representatives joined in the celebration to honor the Aggie 100.

On March 6th, Jenkins Custom Homes was awarded the Silver Max Award for “Best Custom Home” at the Max Award Gala.

Jenkins Custom Homes Nominated for 2 MAX Awards

Two Jenkins homes are finalists for the 2004 Best Custom Home MAX Award.  The MAX Awards are an annual awards ceremony to celebrate local homebuilding excellence and to determine the best homes built that year.

Jenkins Selected to Build The 2004-2005 Designing Texas Dream Home

Jenkins Custom Homes has been selected to build the Designing Texas Dream Home for 2004-2005. The Designing Texas television show selected Jenkins for this unique project, which for six months featured the Dream Home at various stages of construction, ending with a half-hour segment featuring the finished home. The home, built in the Westlake area of Austin, is valued at over $1M and features many unique architectural elements.

Jenkins Wins Best Parade Home at Max Awards

On March 12th, Jenkins Custom Homes was awarded the Silver Max Award for Best Parade or Showcase Home 2004, at the Max Award Gala, held at the Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas. The residence that won the award was built in Lakeway in the prestigious Flintrock Falls subdivision. The unique home featured views of the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, a private courtyard, and a retreat-like pool and spa with outdoor entertaining area.
